By default, the Gola quantity is calculated based on the number of cabinets using Gola—not by continuous length. This means that even if your design visually appears continuous, the system will not combine lengths unless explicitly told to.
To ensure a continuous Gola setup where appropriate, you must use the Merge Hands-Free Tool in Design Studio.
By default, the system does not detect cabinet positions. Instead, it calculates Gola quantities based solely on cabinet length. For example, in the setup below, the system generates:
To treat separate cabinets as part of a continuous Gola layout, follow these steps:
Click the puzzle icon on the second toolbar and select "Merge Hands Free".
Click "Select All" to highlight all mergeable Gola objects in your design.
After selecting, click "Merge" to combine all applicable Gola sections.
Once merged, the system will recalculate and provide an updated Gola quantity. In this example:
It is recommended to perform Gola merging just before processing the order, to avoid needing to undo changes later.
To revert merged Gola objects back to their original configuration:
This will restore Gola associations to their original cabinets.
