Drawers in Design Studio (DS) offer a variety of features—from different styles and finishes to adjustable sizes. Below is a list of available drawer features, each with a detailed description.
These parameters allow you to customize the properties of a drawer cabinet.
Adjusts the layout of the drawer fronts with these options:
some cabinets will offer more or less options
Available only when Drawer Front Configuration is set to Custom Top Drawer or Equally Divided Bottom.
Adds a push-to-open mechanism to the drawers.
Note: This will increase cabinet cost.
Extends the drawer fronts outward by 3/4", allowing a side panel to be placed next to them to cover seams and unfinished cabinet sides.
Changes the color of the drawer box.
Note: Legra and dovetail drawer boxes do not share the same finish options.
Switches the drawer box style (e.g., dovetail → legra).
Apron cabinets are designed for use with sinks or stove tops.
Adjusts the apron height, which changes the height of the cabinet’s top drawer.
These parameters are available only at the drawer level. To access them, open the Resource Manager or double-click a drawer.
Reserves a specific amount of space behind the drawer for plumbing or electrical work. (If 3" is requested, at least 3" will be provided.)
Displays the height of the drawer. (This value cannot be modified.)
Displays the depth of the drawer. (This value cannot be modified.)
Adjusts the cutout shape and size for U-shape drawer boxes (options vary depending on the drawer type).
